Every once in awhile I come across some gear from a creator, maker, designer, or brand that makes me want to buy everything they have. Matímañana is one of those brands. I came across them on Instagram and liked almost every one of their photos. I absolutely love their entire collection of products. From a design perspective I have always loved products that meld different crafts together. Not just using different materials in a product, but actually using different materials that require totally different craftsmanship. The mug from Matímañana is just that. There is the ceramic craftsmanship and the woodworking craftsmanship.

In college I used to do some ceramics. I used to love creating bowls, vases, and jars. Since then I have done some mild woodworking. Recently it has been a dream of mine to bring the two crafts together to make something. Matímañana has done what I have wanted to create. And they have done it so well.
