Trayvax Wallet Review

I came across the Trayvax Element wallet on Instagram awhile back and I remember showing it to my wife because I thought it looked really cool. It is not very often, in fact really rare, that you have a wallet using both steel and leather. I am excited that the guys over at Trayvax sent me one to review. The design really makes it appear strong and not big and bulky. It is truly unique. The steel forms a frame with the leather wrapping around it with paracord weaving down the end of the leather to tie it to the steel frame.

Once you unwrap the lather you can see that the steel is hollow and has a clip that is designed to hold your cash. The cards go on one side of the steel frame and your cash on the opposite side. I am currently holding 6 cards and it is no thicker than your standard bifold wallet.IMG_0640

The wallet comes with an instruction card that explains how to stretch the leather to fit the exact amount of cards you would like to hold. I had never really considered this as a pssibility, but it is indeed nice to customize the fit.img_0654

The loop at the top is perfect for clipping a mini-carabiner or paracord loop to a back pack. I am excited to use this when I do outdoor activities like hiking, golfing, or biking. It will make it really easy to clip my wallet to my backpack or bag.IMG_0639

Trayvax also has several other wallets that are equally as stunning and rugged.

In general this wallet won’t be a daily user for me, but that is because I like to use really slim wallets for my daily carry. But I truly love how strong and rugged this wallet is. I feel like it will handle anything and last forever. It will definitely be my go to wallet for camping trips, hiking trips, and any other outdoor activities. Or really anytime I need an extreme wallet that can handle anything.

[…] The Uniclip is made from a solid piece of Titanium which makes for a very minimal design. I have been showing it off to all of my engineering friends and they all love the design and start to nerd out on how the spring works as a compliant mechanism to keep the clip closed. Since it is made from Titanium it is very lightweight, but the design on the spring is perfect to allow the clip to close back in place with confidence. The spring and clipping action feels strong and durable despite its size and weight. The Uniclip comes in three different sizes; this is the smallest version at 50mm. The other two versions are 75mm and 90mm. This size  is perfect and even fits my Trayvax wallet. […]

I’m really enjoying the design and layout of your website.

It’s a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more enjoyable for me
to come here and visit more often. Did you hire out a
designer to create your theme? Outstanding work!
