Mid-Century Modern is really popular right now, and I really like it.

There are some distinct design trends we see out of the 1930s-1950s.

• Lots pastel colors
• An industrial look with the use of metals in furniture.
• A combination of big round corners and sharp edges
• Angled feet on furniture

A lot of these same features can be seen in modern furniture sold by Ikea.
