Finding amazing gear that has been designed well is my goal. I enjoy finding products that the designer has merged functionality and art. With craftsmanship on the rise and with the accessibility of the internet, it has become very easy for artists and craftsmen to display and sell their work. Finding them isn’t always easy since there are so many different outlets that they may publish on. My passion is to find, display, and critique the amazing work being done out there.

About the Author

My name is Josh and I love design, engineering, art, hiking, camping, brewing beer, motorcycles, cars, golf, and building my ideas in my garage. My wife says I have too many hobbies. I just like to think that all of my hobbies give me a well rounded understanding of how people see beauty in design.

For my day job I am a mechanical design engineer. I design cool things usually with motors, vision, and high end sensors. But my passion is designing then building in my garage, especially items made with wood that incorporate accent materials like carbon fiber.
