Discommon Goods has been one of my favorite design brands for a long time. Even Anthony Bourdain would be overwhelmed with all of the awesome things that Discommon is doing.

Discommon specializes in manufacturing short production runs of incredibly designed gear. They offer world class designers an outlet to get their wild ideas made. Neil and Jeremy, the founders of Discommon, collaborate with designers around the world and turn their ideas into reality. The two guys running the show have a background in product development, design, and mechanical engineering. They have shown that they have perfect combination of skills to create truly insane work.

They have made an assortment of goods ranging from a forged carbon fiber straight razor to a bottle opener that features damascus steel. Each of their items demonstrates countless hours of design and a mastery of machining.

I have spent hours scrolling through their Instagram page and as an engineer I am truly amazed at the products that they design and manufacture. They continue to impress with their ability to create elegant products that show that they have truly mastered the art of design.

I cannot wait to see what they will do next.
