The Polygons measuring spoon is an incredibly clever design for a very common household utensil. Everyone has a ring of measuring spoons in their kitchen that takes up space. The Polygons spoon is unique in that it store completely flat but can fold into the shape of a spoon to measure out any common tablespoon or teaspoon graduation.

The Polygons spoon is currently on Kickstarter and doing really well. They are well past their goal and continuing to grow. Normally I would start to get worried when a project is doing as well as Polygons is, because they usually have a hard time delivering within their schedule when they suddenly get thousands of people backing the project. But I think the Polygons spoon is a simple enough design that it should be a little easier to ramp up their manufacturer. The design itself really is not complicated. It is very minimal and clean. In fact, I don’t even see a logo or any branding on their design.

They are made from a plastic they call TPR which I believe stands for a thermoplastic rubber. This material should be able to withstand the daily abuse of the kitchen.

My wife keeps telling me how much she likes this design. It is truly a genius design. I hope it is as easy to use as the videos make it look. It would be unfortunate to receive this spoon and find out that it is not easy to use and difficult holding in an exact form. This spoon could be really great or it could fall flat.
